GUIDED VISIT TO THE ALCAZAR OF SEVILLE

Royal Alcazar of Seville
We will meet our travelers in “Plaza del Triunfo”, the place where the three buildings that are World Heritage Sites in Seville converge: the Cathedral of Santa Maria de la Sede, the General Archive of the Indies and the Alcazar itself.
A few steps away we have the entrance to the “Reales Alcázares”: the Lion’s Gate. From this same access we will begin to find the contrasts of different periods. Immediately we will enter into the first enclosure, landscaped courtyard of which is only a small preview of the beauty that awaits us inside.
Afterwards, we will have a spectacular view of the three main buildings of the enclosure: the Casa de Contratación, the Palace of Pedro I the Cruel and the Gothic Palace.
Three buildings, in three different styles and with three stories that intermingle and a myriad of impressions, for some of us many are totally new, but yet none will leave us indifferent.
And… gardens, gardens and gardens… yes, several times, because, if there are three different palaces, there are also countless different gardens.
With us you will visit an important sample; we will inform you about some of their styles, periods, and even some curiosities about their flora. But, even better… you will have the opportunity to relax by one of their fountains or get lost in the labyrinth. Our visit will end inside the enclosure so you can enjoy the gardens at your own pace.
